Speed Demon Wins In US
New Zealand Paralympic skier Adam Hall, 25, was at Copper Mountain, Colorado for the 2012-13 IPC Nor-Am Cup, where he won two silver medals in the men’s standing competition. Dunedin-born Hall says he likes to go fast, being that his favourite skiing events are slalom and super G, and the two combined. On winning medals in Colorado, Hall said: “I was extremely happy with how I performed … It was a challenging day as a brutal storm came in providing us with temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees.”
