New Zealand: ‘It really is Paradise’ Says Bollywood’s Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan, one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, rates New Zealand as her favourite place. She spoke to Filmfare, India’s leading film magazine, about her trip and shared some of her New Zealand photos with Filmfare’s readers. ‘I went to New Zealand last Christmas and I must say that after only one visit, it has become my favourite place in the world. Besides the fact that it’s sparsely populated, every place there is picturesque. It’s so green, the weather is lovely and the mountains and valleys are beautiful. It really is paradise. I explored the place and enjoyed the beautiful sights. I am dying to go there again. I can’t tell you how breathtaking it is to be in a place with no cars and just mountains all around’ Vidya said.
