Air New Zealand Named Australasia’s Top Airline

Air New Zealand has been named Australasia’s Leading Airline for the seventh consecutive year at the 2015 World Travel Awards, according to an article in The Financial.

“To win Australasia’s Leading Airline for the seventh year in a row is incredibly exciting,” said Carrie Hurihanganui, Air New Zealand General Manager Customer Experience.

“We’re continually looking at ways to enhance the customer experience at all stages of the journey and these awards are testament to that work and to the efforts of our 11,000 staff.”

In addition the airline also won an award for their Christchurch International Airport Lounge as Australasia’s Leading Airport Lounge.

All regional winners will compete for the World Travel Awards’ global awards in December.
