Chrissy Teigen Insta Endorses The Caker

New Zealand-born Los-Angeles-based baker Jordan Rondel​ has described the moment mega-influencer and supermodel Chrissy Teigen​ endorsed her cake on Instagram as “surreal”, Amberleigh Jack writes for Stuff.

Teigen, creator of website Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, gave a shout-out to Rondel’s brand The Caker on a recent Instagram story, reaching her 37 million followers.

The picture of a chocolate cake next to musician husband John Legend, with a large slice missing, was captioned: “@thecaker’s flourless chocolate cake is SOOOOO GOOD”.

Rondel started The Caker as a cake shop in Auckland in 2010. She’s since opened another in LA where she writes recipes and books, and sells cake mixes that she calls “cake kits”.

Though this promotion wasn’t planned, there could be more collaboration with Teigen to come.

“I can’t give away too much, but we are talking about projects,” Rondel said.
