Couldn’t Ask For More

New Zealand has clinched their second win at the Cricket World Cup beating Zimbabwe by 1-wickets at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmadabad. Opener Brendan Taylor top-scored with 44 for Zimbabwe but when he was out, they were in trouble at 86-6. Prosper Utseya and Graeme Cremer added useful runs but Tim Southee, who finished with 3-29, bowled Utseya to close the innings on 162. “I’m not sure we could ask for too much more,” New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori said. “We wanted a complete performance from ourselves. Right from the start we put it together and to dismiss a good Zimbabwean team for 16 on a very good wicket and then chase it with 1 wickets in hand, well you can’t really ask for too much more from the guys.”
