Photographer Yvonne Todd reviewed in Art Forum’s Best of 2002 issue. “Todd applies Revlon-style control to construct the opposite of the bouffant and bouncy … she assembles a group of unreachable females, encased in etiquette and up to their necks in lace.” Todd, who won the Walters Award for 2002, has quickly emerged as one of the country’s most significant young artists.
