Jennings Keeps it Under Wraps

It includes a consumer finance arm in Russia and an investment bank, Renaissance Capital, with operations spanning central Asia, eastern Europe and pushing hard into Africa. Founder Stephen Jennings, a former economist at New Zealand’s treasury, jets around the world to follow the All Blacks and has been dubbed the “Kiwi oligarch”. Renaissance’s finances are kept under wraps, although Jennings sold a 5 per cent stake in Renaissance Capital to a Russian billionaire, Mikhail Prokhorov, for a reported $5m in 28.”
