New Zealand Stars Feature in Powerful ‘Force of Black’ Rugby World Cup Advert

New Zealand’s All Blacks players unleash their inner animals in the new powerful World Cup advert by shirt sponsors Adidas.

“It’s inside us. Beating in our heart, pumping through our veins. It strengthens every sense. It makes us more determined, more focused, more relentless,”   intones the voice over.

The ad features assorted All Blacks including Jerome Kaino, Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Ma’a Nonu and Israel Dagg and “has encapsulated primal influences, comparing the All Blacks to wild animals and the ferocity of nature including cuts of lightning, tornados and fire.”

The social media response to the ad has been positive, with fans tweeting that “the promo gives (them) chills”.

“Excuse me. My heart rate just tripled. Awesome. #ForceOfBlack”, tweeted another supporter of the New Zealand team.

It is understood that the Force of Black represents everything that it takes to be an All Black. Its culture, history, the fans and the technology built into their jerseys that make them who they are.”

With their force of black and their unique strength, pace and power, the All Blacks are hoping to retain the Webb Ellis Cup they won in 2011 in this year’s World Cup.
