Westenra Performs in Malta

Christchurch “music sensation” Hayley Westenra, will perform alongside Italian pop icon Lucio Dalla and Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja on July 9 at the annual Joseph Calleja concert at the Granaries in Malta. In a preview of the event The Times of Malta wrote: “[Westenra] has already achieved a career most people can only dream about — world famed soprano, classical cross over artist, songwriter and the youngest Unicef ambassador. Over the past few years, she has taken the world by storm with her first album release in 23 at the age of 16. This year, Westenra celebrates 1 years in the music industry with the release of her fifth studio album Paradiso, a collaboration with legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Paradiso has already sold millions of copies since its release in New Zealand two months ago.”
